Government Primary School, Bin (Chensar) is located in Chensar village, Bin block, Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand (PIN – 262501). The school was established in 1963 and is managed by the Department of Education (Government). It offers education at the primary level (Classes 1 to 5), with Hindi as the medium of instruction.The school provides essential educational facilities to its students. It has a library with 500–1000 books and offers Computer-Aided Learning (CAL) as well as a Smart Class equipped with an Interactive Learning Panel. Basic infrastructure such as electricity and tap water for drinking is available. There are separate toilets for boys and girls, although the school lacks a playground and disabled-friendly ramps.The institution is headed by Principal Naval Kishore Pant, under whose leadership the school continues to function.

About PM SHRI School
PM SHRI School is a centrally sponsored scheme by the Government of India. This initiative is intended to develop more than 14,500 PM SHRI Schools managed by Central Government/State/UT Government/local bodies, including KVS and NVS. The goal is to create schools where every student feels welcomed and cared for, where a safe and stimulating learning environment exists, where a wide range of learning experiences are offered, and where good physical infrastructure and appropriate resources conducive to learning are available to all students. These schools are designed to provide holistic education that nurtures the intellectual, emotional, and physical growth of students.
